What does "psychic" mean?
If you look "psychic" up in the dictionary you'll see it
literally defined as "of or pertaining to the soul". Your
psychic abilities are your soul abilities. If you are tuning into your
psychic abilities, you are going beyond the physical and into the metaphysical.
YOU are psychic!
Everyone who has a body is psychic. We all are using our psychic abilities
all the time: when we have a sense about a person or a situation, when
we get a "gut feeling", or when we know who is calling on
the phone before we answer it are all examples.
Our bodies are sensitive to energy, and we can easily get overloaded
with too much input. Even if you don't think you are psychic at all,
you're most likely just too "full" to tell what is your energy
and what is someone else's. This is why we offer readings, healings,
and classes - to help you get in touch with your own soul energy and
your abilities.
Do I need an energy healing?
People receive healings for lots of reasons. It is akin to taking a
shower on the energy level. It helps to rinse away other peoples' thoughts
and feelings that we pick up during the day. We call it foreign energy.
Foreign energy is experienced as stress, tension, anxiety, depression,
feeling "spaced out", drained or overwhelmed. After receiving
a healing, people usually report feeling very relaxed and calm.
A healing is also a great way to have a psychic experience. Many people
(although sometimes it may not be right away) sense warmth or tingling
in their body where the healer is working. This is simply your own energy
coming home around your body.
Why take energy classes?
Everything that is in your life was created on the energy level first.
What's that? You say you don't remember creating a relationship that
wouldn't work? You didn't consciously decide to be low on money? You
can find out where your energy has gone, what it has formed into, and
begin anew by learning a few very simple, practical techniques and concepts.
The beginning classes offered at the Academy are the ABC's of doing
work on the energy, or spirit, level. What is taught in these classes
can be applied to bring more prosperity and peace to every aspect of
your life. The same techniques are practiced by new students and experienced
staff members - they are that effective. It is very beneficial to also
take the classes more than once to really help you begin to practice
and apply what you learn.
What is a "Spiritual Kindergarten"?
The Academy was designed to be a Spiritual Kindergarten so that it
would be FUN, safe and grounded for all who were sincere in studying
themselves. The techniques and concepts that are taught are simply profound,
and can be used by anyone. Being in kindergarten is great: you're free
to make mistakes as you need to, you don't have to be serious or solemn,
and you can just enjoy yourself on your spiritual journey with good
companionship.
