Exposing Clinton's Motives

By Rev. William Duby

The cold war is over and the cold hearted ways of self serving interest groups are pouring millions of dollars into the political machinery to make sure the lawmakers keep on doing their bidding at the expense of the American people.

It is well known that, "He who has the gold makes the rules."It is clear that the American people don't have the gold or the cash to bank on. They don't even have the keys to the U.S. Treasury much less Fort Knox. Congress gave away the keys with the passing of the Federal Reserve Act. And, as Bob Shapiro stated, "When faced with a choice between doing what is right and protecting its 'independence', the Fed (Federal Reserve Board) always protects itself." We're seeing the monkey-business of "politics as usual."Remember! The more things change - the more they stay the same. This is an old axiom. We might want to pay attention to this truth regardless whether we like to hear it or not. Wisdom declares that we do so if common sense is the ruler of self respect.

I predicted long before the election that Bill Clinton wouldn't keep his campaign promises. It is often painful to be right. I watched Clinton do everything he could to get elected. He even changed his hair color to look more mature. He started with brown hair and slowly but surely, by the date of the election, he had changed into a grey haired middle aged man. He played the game and gained the fame of being true to the character assigned him by those who knew him well to be called - SLICK WILLY.

When things don't add up they just don't figure - and when things don't figure you can't count on them. The campaign rhetoric of Clinton was just talk, all talk. Saying the right words at the right time to an audience praying to hear what they wanted to hear rather than listen with the need to know if the man they voted for was a man of his word.

We have already seen Clinton back down on his promise of "no new taxes."It is true he has focused his tax increases on the rich, in line with his Democratic ideal, however, now he is talking about energy levies (tax on heat) which would raise taxes for the middle class as well. Perhaps most ironic is his pledge to support the middle and lower classes while turning around and taxing Social Security Benefits for those retirees making more than $25,000 a year. I don't know of anyone making $25,000 a year who would consider themselves upper-class.

Clinton didn't have a sound economic policy in mind while running for office. He knew it, the economists throughout the U.S. and the world at large knew it. His insight was that he knew the American people didn't know it. He counted on this fact and it paid off for him handsomely. What Clinton had to say sounded too good to be true. Guess what? It was too good to be true! Forty three percent of the American people took Clinton at his word.

What Clinton accused Bush of doing, breaking his campaign promise not to raise taxes, Clinton is doing, raising the taxes of the middle class rather than relieve the heavy burden put upon them by other self serving politicians.

People fell in love on a look rather than looked before they fell madly in love with a player who thrived on charming the audience for applause. JFK - he is not, Harry S. Truman - he's not. He's not a Statesman like Jefferson. He's a Rhodes scholar who happens to be a run of the mill politician. In other words, like it or not he's simply - SLICK WILLY.

As the old saying goes - ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Clinton flips and flops like a pancake being tossed at the fancy of the handler. When the famed organizational expert Peter Drucker was asked to access Clinton's style, he responded, "He's running a flea market."

Clinton is more concerned with what appears to be "politically correct"than "honest to God. He's on the side of the law that makes him look good in the eyes of people who elected him rather than the eyes of His God that has need to correct his perspective for the betterment and well being of prosperity for all American people.

No, Clinton is anything but a Statesman! Call him what you will but dare not call him a Statesman or a Patriot. You'd be philosophically incorrect. Benjamin Franklin was a Statesman. Patrick Henry was a Patriot. Clinton is a player in the elite club of the "powers that be"who are counting on him setting up a NEW WORLD ORDER that will cater to their desire to economically enslave the population of the world of unsuspecting souls.

Clinton believes in what he's doing the same as the traitor Benedict Arnold believed in his cause. In fact, Judas did the same thing as Benedict Arnold. Arnold sold out his country, Judas sold out his Lord and Clinton is selling out the American people by insulting their intelligence and/or banking on the fact they have been educated to be brilliant but not too smart. Each, like many, was "progressively educated"in their upbringing to have a certain set of values they considered worthwhile. I can't fault him on that. We all fall into that trap of imbibing false ethics and morality.

Clinton is just a pawn on a chessboard. He can't see the "trees for the forest. You'd think he'd wise up now that he's President. He will not because he can't stop campaigning. A Rhodes scholar is on the road using his scholastic accomplishments to project rhetoric into the minds of the American people just like Hitler helped the people of Germany buy into the hypnotic concept of the Aryan race.

Clinton is addicted to approval ratings like most career politicians. He doesn't realize that the game he is playing is "truth or consequences."Clinton is not being truthful to himself and the consequence is that the American people are suffering needlessly. He doesn't have a sound economic policy. He doesn't know where the rhetoric leaves off and reality sets in. Some of the best minds in the country are located in Washington, D.C. They know that Clinton doesn't know what he's doing. The numbers don't add up. It just doesn't figure. The national debt will rise not fall should his budget pass the Congress and Senate. Will he listen? Not as long as his egomania stands in the way of submitting to common sense.

Any one who bothers to awake from the hypnosis and listen to what the economists are saying will realize that Clinton's plan isn't the lifesaver we were led to believe it would be. According to John Attarian, a writer for the "National Review, "Projected deficits for 1994-97 total $1,241 billion. Clinton's plan - assuming it works - envisions net deficit reduction of $325 billion. This leaves $916 billion of deficits, averaging $229 billion a year, hardly better than Bush's average of $233.4 billion." Furthermore, Bruce Bartlett writes, "Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of President Clinton's insistence on pressing ahead with an economic-stimulus program... is the cavalier attitude it signifies toward inflation. This growth-at-all costs approach may not show up in price indexes for some time, but continuation of such a policy will inevitably mean inflation." In fact, a recent report from Bear, Stearns & Co. notes that some important early warning signs of inflation are already in evidence. (For details see the April 26, edition of National Review Magazine) Clinton must quit the game of being a "young upstart"and begin to listen (pay attention) to those who know damn well that a "tax and spend"policy will spur "run away inflation.

Clinton believes the government can create jobs. It has been said that it cost the government $80,000 to create a job that lasts for a year. Think about it! $80,000! It cost the government more to create the job than the government is willing to pay the individual to do the job. Isn't this self defeating? It is bad enough the government is willing to make nuts and bolts costing $60,000 a piece. Now the government is going to waste more money in creating jobs that are self defeating. Another brilliant move that isn't too smart!

Clinton should leave the business of creating jobs to the businessmen who know how to do that sort of thing when it comes to "supply and demand. That's what the entrepreneurial spirit is all about for Christ sake! At least when the businessmen create jobs it isn't at the expense of the tax payer. The government has need of being governed by the American people. Why else would you have a republic? Isn't a republican form of government for the people, by the people and unto the people to govern?

Clinton wants more government involvement in the lives of the American people. Another brilliant move that isn't too smart! Isn't it bad enough that you can find your name (as well as private business) in numerous computer listings? Do you need a government playing "big brother? Americans have a choice of participating in a democratic republic or a socialistic democracy. The latter is a de facto government that is self serving and "makes fun"of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. In other words, it humors the people while it slowly but surely enslaves them behind an economic policy that binds them, their family and their progeny for hundreds of years.

Such a socialistic democracy is spreading world wide. Communism isn't dead and gone. It has just changed names. The semantics are different in the sense that socialism has replaced communism. The game is always the same for those who desire to enslave by military might, religious fervor or an economy that is based on deficit spending. Remember! Marx was an economist. Marxism is based upon the principle of the government distributing the goods and services to the people. It is obvious that the Berlin wall has come down only to be secretly erected as an invisible economic barrier that stretches around the world. You must be a member of the elite or else die trying not to be.

The "powers that be"are convinced they have a mandate to "progressively educate"the people to "buy into"a government that "promises you everything"while stealing your self worth (soul). They believe the people are too stupid to take care of themselves. It is their calling to do it for you and I. Another brilliant but stupid idea. Bottom line is - unless you play, as they say, you don't eat as you now do.

Wake up, America! Bill Clinton can't deliver on his promises. He's walking down Jimmy Carter lane! The problem with fantasy is that you don't realize your dreaming. When your own party is willing to fight you on certain issues you can be dead certain you've got problems! Think about it! The democrats have been waiting 12 years to get into the Presidency! You'd think that they couldn't wait to "rubber stamp"everything Clinton sent their way. Yet they aren't, why? They know damn well it would be political suicide! As Senator Phil Gramm put it, "Democrats are getting nervous that people are beginning to understand what's in the plan, and the plan is not defensible."

What's the learning lesson! Don't fall in love on a look! Don't jump out of the frying pan into the fire. Don't fool yourself into believing that there is someone outside yourself that cares more about you than you need to do for well being. Look within yourself for the change in outlook and you'll see that those who are daring enough to charm you for a vote are secretly "wolves in sheep's clothing".
