I am a human being. I have a mind to think with, eyes to see with, ears to hear with, a heart to feel with and a soul to care with. I am sensitive to my God, my Country and my humanity. In other words, I dare to care about myself and others to the degree I have awakened to common sense. I know there must be others like me. Sensitive people who feel they can't say much or do much to help. Yet we all must try the best we can.
I believe we all can make a difference for the good. We all have a part to play in helping the world to become a better place to live, for ourselves, our children and people everywhere.
I hate to write about what I am going to say for it is painful. Painful to speak up, painful to hear and shocking to think about. A doctor must look at a mangled body and do his best to repair it for restoration. We all must look at the condition of America and her People. It isn't supposed to be this way. Yet, it is. What are we going to do?
We can't afford to sit back and do nothing. Look at what has happened by all the talking but little doing. We are the only People to restore America. We are the American People! We better come up with some good ideas. We can't expect people from another country to come to our rescue and help us. What happens if they don't? Besides, charity begins at home. So, I wonder, I truly wonder, can we talk, can we honestly open our mind and our heart and honestly communicate with one another?
If you can hear then please listen to me. I am not asking you to agree with me. I don't profess to know everything. I plead with you to dare listen with the intent to hear a few things. If you feel otherwise, turn a deaf ear towards me. I'd be wasting my time in trying to help you see the truth much less listen to its chastising spirit.
What I have to say is controversial and sobering for the sensitive soul. I make no apologies for it. I thought long and hard before I wrote one word to be read. I will say that it is not my intent to slay in the spirit much less down grade a race, color, creed, national origin, sexual gender or sexual preference. If anything at all, I am appealing to the spirit of the American People to reflect upon what I share for the benefit of unifying the humanity so that all can enjoy the dignity and respect that thei r Creator would love for them to enlighten themselves upon.
I don't believe its a secret that everyone seems to have a secret agenda as well as an opinion regarding every subject under the sun. I guess I am no different. I breathe like everyone else. Unlike the many others, however, I have an editorial privilege. After saying that, I'm reminded to make certain that the things I say in print are my wholehearted convictions, talking about what I realize is an inward calling, speaking on behalf of the true blooded American who has been gifted by his or her Creator with a common sense that seems uncommon these days. If I am wrong I'll stand corrected, if I'm right, then some correcting needs to be done.
When I look at America I see a land falling apart at the seams and a people too distraught to easily come alive and fight the moral fight of the century the fight for a common bond. In fact, the same condition exists throughout the world.
I don't like what I see but I see it, others see it, all of us see it, we can no longer kid ourselves and pretend it doesn't exist. I'd like to believe that what I see is just my imagination. But, the truth is, I can't help but see a horror flick of human tragedy that even my wild and vivid imagination can hardly believe is within the law of possibilities.
Man's inhumanity unto man is a horrifying shame that shouldn't exist in the 20th Century much less be allowed to enter the 21st. It is disgusting, cruel and deplorable. If finger pointing must be done then the blame needs to be shared by every member of the teen-age and adult community that is not doing their part in thinking clearly for a better tomorrow to appear, starting today. A little soul searching never hurt anyone and a whole lot can only help where no other help may be possible.
There are 5 billion people living, dwelling and exercising their human being upon this small planet. We all have to live here regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, sexual gender or sexual preference.
You'd think that there would be a gifted body of people dedicated in keeping the world a safe place for the upcoming generations. I'm afraid the way things are going, the earth herself will cave in upon us. She is already beginning to do so. We are now dealing with holes in the ozone layer of the atmosphere, acid rain falling to the ground, the greenhouse effect causing the ice caps to melt and radiation poisoning. How much can Mother Earth take before she becomes a barren planet like the others in the univ erse?
Think about it! The water, air, ground and seas are polluted.
Rain forests are being cut down faster than babies are being born.
Millions of tons of topsoil is being washed into the ocean.
Millions of tons of nuclear waste is rotting in underground storage containers as well as being dumped into the sea.
Thousands of precious plants and animals are disappearing from the face of the earth faster than conservation efforts can save them from extinction. And only God knows what's being let loose and is now airborne from biological laboratories. How in the hell can we say we are an intelligent people?
We know that countless countries are at war throughout the world and gang warfare is taking place in the streets of America. The teenage population tells the adults to get a new life while many of them sell crack cocaine because they can make more money being a parasite than delivering newspapers or baby-sitting.
Think about it! Now that the cold war between the United States and the Soviet Union is finished, or so it has been reported, the reality of how cold hearted we are towards each other as members of the humanity is being seen for certain.
Look at the old Soviet Union and how it was dismantled. When it fell apart, the lives of millions fell apart. Fighting is everywhere, bloodshed is everywhere, people are maimed, people are dying, people are starving, prisoners are taken and mistreated and rape houses are being established in the name of independence or ethnic cleansing.
Instead of the Soviet Union having all the nuclear weapons, now many countries of the former Soviet Bloc have private arsenals. Check the logic! Why have one potential enemy with nuclear weapons when you can watch a country split up into small factions and you can have many potential enemies with nuclear weapons?
Think about it! To begin with, governments are lying to the people and people are lying to themselves and each other. The evil in human nature is running rampant and is everywhere to be seen. There may be some good taking place, but not nearly enough to undo the hellish evil deeds tearing apart the moral fiber that holds together love for the neighbor; not everyone can be a President, Pope, Movie Star or Sport's hero. The law of probability is against it. Yet, everyone can be a loving and decent human being that anyone would be proud to call a spiritual brother or sister. Isn't it better to truly love one another than teach each other hatred by not doing so?
A lot of people often act like animals, prepared to stand on their hind legs to do battle or run for cover when the truth is exposed; squirming and hiding like snakes under a rock, afraid to come out into the open unless they are exposed to the light that embarrasses them into shedding the shameful snake skins of despair, having to face the fact of life that they are dispassionate rather than compassionate, revengeful rather than forgiving.
Adam and Eve may have been kicked out of the garden, but I'm certain the snake couldn't wait to follow them and live in the heart of the insensitive people who think its better to harm than hug.
I've heard in song that what the world needs now is love, sweet love. The world is full of love. Love to lie, love to cheat, love to steal, love to kill, love to make money by any means justifying the end. There is plenty of love in the world. You can see it everywhere. It is selfish, lustful and greedy. It is absent of a true moral decency. It is absent of love towards the neighbor.
For example:
People have come to love the pleasure of the honeymoon but hate to work the marriage should they find it painful, and as a result the divorce rate is 50% for first marriages and 70% for second marriages.
People love to work for money but few love to work for the prosperity of the employer, if for no other reason than to ensure they remain employed.
It is obvious that many people are going the wrong direction in mind when they undertake the desire to think about any subject. Instead of thinking well for themselves in relationship to others including themselves, they think like hell and everything begins to fall apart because they are looking out for themselves without taking the well being of others into consideration.
Decent love, if it is ever honored upon this planet, is honest to God love for the neighbor. A love to honor, a love to cherish, a love to die for until death do us part. A great love such as this is a bonding love, a brotherly and sisterly love, the kind the Almighty would be proud to look down and see. A giving without strings and/or insane expectations of receiving something in return. It is a divine love for it stands upon the spirituality that is embodied by the democratic principles of a republican fo rm of government in which the awesome power of that love is held in trust by the sensitive people who have love in their heart for the neighbor.
Divine, Unconditional or Unselfish love is what the world of people need to nourish in their hearts for one another. It is the sane thing to do. If for no other reason than the atmosphere of the earth is in dire need of a healing for her well being. Unless what I say is done, gladly so (not that I am the first or only one to say it), the hell that has been created upon earth by the lost humanity will continue to be perpetuated until being dead will be more enjoyable than being alive.
Think about it! The educational system is falling apart, the judicial system is falling apart and medical costs are outrageous to say the least. Hospitals and schools are closing while more and more prisons are opening their doors for business.
You can't count on the President, Congress or Judicial branch of government to be consistent much less persistent in doing the right thing at the right time for the upright reason of exercising moral decency. They seem more concerned with acting good and looking good rather than dropping the act and looking to see where the good needs to be done and do it.
Generally speaking, the political, religious and social leadership doesn't truly care about the welfare of the American People; or, for the people throughout the world for that matter. It is unconscionable to think that there are starving, homeless, sick and dying people on the streets in America. Ninety-five military bases are closing. Why can't the American People use those facilities until something better can be constructed to serve the needs of the homeless people living in the streets? Rather than dis charge a couple of hundred thousand military personnel and allow them to join the ranks of the jobless, why not convert their military status to a civilian conservation corps to help rehabilitate and restore the American People in need or leave their military status intact and make this goal their work? Wouldn't this be better than increasing the unemployment figures?
Every human life is precious, more precious than we'll ever know. Life is more valuable than printed dollars. It should be against the U.S. Constitution to deny an American citizen food, clothing and shelter.
Why are these politicians saying that we don't have any money? We come up with the money when we want to finance a war. We come up with money when we want to appease another country. Who is trying to kid who? Other countries don't buy it. Why do we buy it? Foreign countries know damn well that we'll simply print the money. If we don't they'll act up like a spoiled brat who didn't get his way.
The U.S. Treasury should be first and foremost for the prosperity of the American People, it is the true bank of America, the repository for their wealth. It should fulfill all their needs of food, clothing, shelter and medical care. Needs and wants are two different things. Fulfilling the needs of every American isn't creating a welfare state. It is not charity to take care of your own, it is a duty and a sacred obligation, a fulfilling of the human right for every American citizen. In fact, it is part of the concept of human rights that every country should adopt, especially America. Americans have taken care of everybody throughout the world and millions of our countrymen have lost their lives to make certain that their children never endure the hardship that they did. America should make certain that these war heroes don't turn over in their grave.
What the government is doing now, buying off other countries, is creating an international welfare state dependent upon the U.S. Treasury. Good morale and good deeds are moral and upright. If we have more than what we need then, yes, help people in another country. But, first, ensure the inept leadership stands aside so that we can be assured the people get what they need.
Why have a U.S. Treasury if all you do is keep sending money to other countries? If that is going to remain the case, then the U.S. Treasury needs to be renamed. It should be called the Foreign Treasury or the Bank of Bureaucrats. Why not? They have their hands in the U.S. Treasury more than the American People ever thought of doing.
The Spirit of America needs resurrection. The Holy Spirit is waiting to be welcomed in the heart of the sensitive soul who cherishes the ideal of freedom from personal misery. Whatever violates the human spirit should be outlawed for it is disgraceful. I often think about what Jesus said regarding His Father having many mansions. That He was leaving to prepare a place for His Disciples. You'd think that all these leaders in America who profess to emulate Jesus (meaning they are God fearing) would exercise a charitable heart and build a mansion for every American citizen. There isn't any sane excuse as to why not. The hell with the cost in terms of money. How about the body and soul of America and every American? In truth, we can't afford not to do it. It costs more to fight crime than rid every American of poverty. It is a lot easier to replace money well spent than restore a broken life.
Think about it! The average American family can hardly pay a mortgage and taxes on a home much less feed themselves and provide health coverage. Come on, let's get real. Things in America are so far out of hand that we need some revolutionary ideas just to get back on the right track towards moral decency.
I find myself wanting to puke when I see political leadership walk into a church and religious leadership standing shoulder to shoulder with the politicians. Actions speak louder than words or photo opportunities.
You'd think the political, religious and social leadership would get wise for Christ sake. If their Lord departed the earth to prepare a place for His Disciples, you'd think that while the politicians, religious and social leaders are waiting upon His return (if they are at all), they would love to do nothing more than what they heard their Savior did. I mean, after all, let's face it, you're either a Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, moral human being etc. or faking it. Wasn't it Jesus who is report ed to have said that He did nothing by Himself, that He did what He saw His Father doing? What in the hell is the problem with all the characters that say they believe in Him? If not Him, then Jehovah or Allah or some other name.
How in God's name can the political, religious or social leadership allow the American People to become homeless, starving and dying on the streets? Get the picture! There are women, children and war heroes on the streets without food, clothing or shelter, much less medical care.
How can they allow the farmer to lose his land, people their homes and small business go broke; and, at the same time, finance the Chrysler Corporation and give unlimited power to Savings and Loans? As far as I am concerned - they can't possibly believe in God, much less the Divine Character of Jesus, the Moral Man. If they did, then the Holy Spirit would be alive in them and the charitable heart like Jesus had would come alive and giving without strings would naturally take place. It would be too painful n ot to respond to the need. Cost wouldn't even be an issue.
This government runs on making money and not the love of God for the neighbor. Anyone who thinks otherwise is living in fantasy land and there isn't a psychiatrist in all the world that can help him. The concept of separation between Church and State has been intentionally taken out of context. They should be working together for the prosperity of the body and soul. This is to say, if they truly care about the welfare of the human being. There is more than enough money in the U.S. Treasury, Vatican Coffer, Mormon Temple depository and Jewish hierarchy alone to make certain that every American citizen has food, clothing, shelter and medical care. The American People suffer because they aren't as ingenious as those who hold the power of the pen and keys to the vaults.
Think about it! Teenage pregnancy is on the rise (so much for sexual education in schools), crime is on the rise and suicide is on the rise (so much for the war on poverty and disciplined love for the children).
There is an increase in kidnapping, sky-jacking and car-jacking.
People fear going out of the house. They just might get kidnapped. If they stay at home, someone might break in and steal not only their belongings but them as well.
People fear to drive their car because someone may want to steal it and kill them just to take it.
People fear to fly in a plane because the chances of it falling from the sky are great and the possibility that they won't go directly to their destination is real.
Churches are locked and guarded; home owners are installing burglar alarms and fences; schools, court houses, airports, stores and other public meeting places are installing metal detectors.
People are hiring private detectives to check out their prospective dates, prenuptial agreements need to be signed before marriage can take place, a hand shake is almost impossible to trust, the written contract is only as good as the two people who signed it and people are hiding behind closed curtains and locked doors.
There is murder in the streets, murder on television and murder yet to be done in the hearts of thousands who can't wait for their 15 minutes of fame on some tabloid television show. No longer do we have to wonder what the world is coming to. Hell is not only the coming attraction but the current event.
Millions of dollars do not need to be wasted to see if people are influenced by violence on television. Anyone with common sense knows children are influenced by their parents and peer pressure. If their delicate mind can be captivated at home by the actions of their parents, their imagination can run away with them by what they see on the tube and the silver screen. The money would be better spent by investing in some charitable activity. We don't need anymore couch potatoes, closet psychopaths, or psycho- babble. What we need is sensitive people standing up and being counted among the living who have decided they are not going to take it anymore! They are determined to do something about it. If nothing else, to let the whole damn world hear them shouting from the roof topsENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
We don't need anymore written laws. There are enough laws on the books that are already not being enforced by the judiciary. Besides, the true moral law is inscribed upon our hearts and minds. All we need to do is enter within and listen to the common sense of the common decency that the common man thrives upon for Christ sake.
Think about it! You're not safe in the home, in the court, in the church, in the hospital, shopping mall or the school playground. You can't protect yourself, your children, your family or your life. The President can't do it and he has the secret service at his disposal. Neither can the Pope with his entourage. If they can't do it with all their resources - what about us? Do we really think that the police can help us? They would be useful before the fact but their hands are tied until after the fact. What good will that do us?
It has become so frightening that you don't dare trust yourself to trust another regardless of their station in life. What lurks behind the smiling face could be Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. Wonderful!
We've got criminals growing up in our home, criminals going to school, criminals going to work, criminals entering public office, criminals entering the pulpit and criminals entering jail. And, if that's not enough, we've got criminals coming out of prisons with more of a negative attitude than when they went in. Great Scott!
The hospitals are overcrowded, the doctors offices are overcrowded, the jails are overcrowded and the court dockets are full. We need more police on the streets because there are less and less people who are truly interested in becoming decent human beings. You know this society is in trouble when the children believe that the way to settle an argument is to kill each other. What's the problem? Love, indecent love is the problem. There is little, if any, decent love for the neighbor.
Think about it! It has been said that"silence is golden."I can see why that statement was made. You dare say nothing to anyone worthwhile because they will more than likely become upset with you and accuse you of being against their race, color, creed, national origin, sexual gender or sexual preference. The moment you open your mouth and let words pass through your lips - you are labeled a racist, humanist or religionist. And that is the least of your worries. They might become so outraged that they pull o ut a gun and blow your head off. Everyone has their opinion and everyone has their god and their god is just as worthless as their opinion in more cases than not.
Think about it! The head game about race and color is sick and deadly. All races are to blame for racism because all races are participating in spiritism; meaning negativity or separatism. Spiritism won't allow you to let go of the past. It keeps raising its ugly head, captivating your imagination, until you become a member of the dearly departed. This is why Jesus is reported to have said,"traditions (cultural programming) voids the Word of God."In other words, you can't see the trees for the forest.
Think about it! Look at how the sick game is played today. If I am black and you are white then I can say what I want about you and what your ancestry did to me but you better not say a damn thing about what my race is now doing to you or you are a racist.
If I am red and you are white then your ancestry stole my land and you must be shamed into giving it back to me.
If I am yellow and you are white then your ancestry put me into a concentration camp and you are responsible for making reparation on my behalf.
If I am brown and you are white then you can bet your last dollar that I will figure out a way to capitalize on what the other races are doing to you and more likely than not you will find me joining right in as a member of the minority. I will find some ridiculous reason to shame you into doing for me what I see you doing for the others. Your ancestry stole California from Mexico. Your ancestry invaded El Salvador, Honduras or some other Latin American Country.
If on the other hand, you are white and I am red, yellow, black or brown then you could feel the way I do for being blamed for what you didn't do.
Think about it! When love for the neighbor is exercised from the heart then ignorance of the mentality held in the mind becomes educated for enlightenment and the wild and vivid imagination is tamed for well being.
The gift of compassion is bestowed upon the sensitive soul who is convicted by the truth of reality. Love for the neighbor resides with those who have the inner ability to put themselves in the place of the neighbor, realizing how the neighbor must have felt, feeling their pleasure and pain without having to become them. You don't have to trade places with your neighbor to feel for them. Nor, I might add, are you loving your neighbor by giving in to them because you feel guilty about what someone else did w ho just happened to be a member of the same race, color, creed, national origin or sexual gender. God forbid. Two wrongs don't make a right.
You can't take the blame for what someone else did. Why? You're not God or the Messiah. Only the Son of God could bear the sins of the world. It is a sin to think you can do what God created His Son to do. With compassion you have empathy for another. It means you have heart. With guilt you fall into sympathy with yourself (for not doing the right thing, at the right time for the upright reason) and want another to feel your pain. It is called dumping on another. Once you are upright then there isn't any ne ed for sympathy and compassion will become your halo.
Let me share some truth with you. Racism begins when spiritism (negativity) has a hold on the heart of wicked people who, having lost their mind, rationalize their point of view as the sick way to stir up the emotions of innocent people to do their bidding.
Hitler had the same negative attitude towards the Jews that plenty of black, red, yellow and brown people have towards the white race today. (I am certain that the same hatred lives in the heart of many white people towards people of other skin colors.)
Hitler blamed the Jews for Germany losing World War I. As a result of losing the war Germany had lost territory. He was determined to restore the old boundary lines that existed before World War I. In his madness, Hitler not only took out his hatred on the Jews but went beyond his original goal and expanded the boundary to cover all of Europe, including most of Russia as well as Africa. If you honestly looked at the negative attitude that many minority groups have towards the white race today, you can't hel p but see the same deep seated anger, hatred and hostility in their heart that Hitler had in his heart. Such a negative attitude is truly militant.
Hitler wasn't a German but he was considered white. He not only hurt the Jewish people who were just as white as he was but degraded the white German people and the white people of many other nationalities. He was the cause of Europe being devastated. His negative attitude was militant. It took people of every race, color, creed, national origin and sexual gender to fight against the fascist regime.
Hatred is color blind the same as love is color blind. A germ doesn't care about the skin color of the host. It just wants a host in which to survive. The same is true with hatred. Hatred can love to live in your heart whether the skin color is red, brown, yellow, black or white. Perpetuating hatred, regardless of the color of your skin, is evil.
Think about it! Racism is a sickness the same as spiritism is a wicked possession. The demons of the evil mentality keep captive the imagination and the individual is changed into the cunning beast (who thinks he knows something) by the animal magnetism of his or her own desire nature.
The American Indian believes that the white man stole his land. It is ironic that the indigenous people who profess to be close to nature can't seem to realize that the land belongs to Mother Earth and not any specific race of people; and she alone, in a divine relationship with her cosmic husband, the Great White Spirit, will decide where the inhabitants of every race, color, creed, national origin and sexual gender will reside.
Think about it! There are plenty of black people who fail to realize that what the white people of yesterday did to their black ancestry isn't the fault of the masses of white people who exist today and it is immoral to expect these white people to pay the price for what their ancestry did. Why? Such an attitude is negative for it is"an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth"mentality. And since the black race, as a whole, does pride itself on a long history of a true Christian spirituality, it should be easy to understand the reality of"turning the other cheek"- not for the sake of the white man but for Christ' sake. This would truly be shaming the white people who continue to indulge in evil.
What the black race should be doing (other races as well), whether they like to hear it or not, is do what they can do best and keep their mind on praising the Lord, to ensure that hatred hasn't seeped into their heart where love for the neighbor belongs for safe keeping. Only by doing so can they be in true worship of God, The Spirit.
Think about it! People of every race, color, creed, national origin and sexual gender have been mistreated by someone in America whether they were born in this country or entered this land from another country.
American people are mistreated by people in other lands and people of other lands are mistreated by people of this land. A thorough study of history will reveal that the white people of Europe are fighting among themselves today as they were in ancient times. The Irish and English are battling one another as I write. The English soldier patrols Northern Ireland, the United Nations are in Europe (Bosnia-Sarajavo).
People in Africa are fighting with each other today just like they were yesterday and in times of the ancient past. Full bloods, half bloods and mixed bloods are fighting for one insane reason or another. If the United Nations wasn't in Somalia several black dictators would be at war and millions more would be killed or starving.
We need to face the fact about insane fighting. Black people fight with black people, red people fight with red people, yellow people fight with yellow people, brown people fight with brown people and white people fight with white people.
People of every color fight with people of every other color including their own color when they are possessed by wicked spirits who are earth bound. All spiritism (negativity) is militant and a disgrace to the humanity.
We might want to wake up and join the human race. All we have to do is drop the phony act of race, color, creed, national origin, sexual gender and sexual preference.
We need to elect people who are finished with the false so that the true business of resurrecting America for the blessing and well being of every American can get started. I don't know about everyone else. I know about me. I can't favor one skin color over another for the blood of my body has two colors, red and white (whatever in hell that means). Which do I favor? Neither! The nationality of my body is multinational,Irish, English and American Indian. Which do I favor? None! I've been raised Catholic, Protestant and often times Jew. Which should I favor? None.
Herein lies the truth for me! I am a spiritual being who has embodied a bi-racial, multi-national body. I am a free man, the truth has set me into the freedom of God to express His Greatness in Divine Understanding and personal comprehension. I am a human being who has been chosen by the Almighty to reside in America as an American. It is my responsibility to suit the mind and body perfectly with an upright attitude and take the fault or credit for all thought that I allow the mind to think and the consequ ences of all actions and deeds of the body. How about you?
Let's join the human race of the humanity of the Creator rather than continue onward with the insanity of the ancestry that seems to haunt us with wild and vivid imaginings, sickening in the sight of the Savior.
When Jesus said that He came not to bring peace but division, He didn't mean that the races should separate and people of every race separate from each other but that people of every race, color, creed, national origin, sexual gender unite with the same (sane) consciousness He was exemplifying whether or not they believed in His Name as the Only Begotten Son of God. Why? It was the only way (His Way of Thinking) for all of us to get along with one another. When you leave out love for the neighbor then your concept of love of God and love of Country is worthless.
The people who go into the hospitals, insane asylums, prisons and graves are revealing to us that the political, religious and socialistic system we have been upholding doesn't work for the well being of the humanity.
We need to get down to bottom line with regard to the subject of the human being. The Spirit of the Almighty is housed in the body beautiful. This is why he's called a soul. When he comes alive to it he's a living soul and his heart is full of joy and a joyful heart is more apt to inspire productivity. What we need is a system where love for the neighbor is upheld. Only then can the earth and the humanity become restored for the blessing of prosperity. It may be a long time before we get there but we better begin or we'll never enjoy a little bit of heaven upon earth. And, I might add, neither will our children or their children.æn
