Why Do We Fight?

Have you ever noticed that few people truly get along with each other?

I've noticed a few things since I have been stationed upon this earth. Fighting seems to be the way of life.

It is as if a living hell can be enjoyed, but heaven upon earth is out of the question. If I didn't know better, I'd swear the "Cain and Abel" story is replaying over and over again with no end in sight. You know the story. Cain killed Abel because Abel did precisely what the God of his heart desired for him to do and Cain got jealous and decided to slay Abel. The names of the characters may change but the moral of the story seems to go on forever.

Fighting is about all we see. Angry people playing dirty tricks because they're upset with this or that person, this or that place, this or that thing.

Fighting takes place among all people and all the fighting is justified. The obvious fight is between the blacks and whites. What a sick game. Something is very wrong when an individual is so determined to be more proud of being an Anglo white or African black rather than give up the false pride to become a member of the human race which is beyond the color of skin.

When the blacks and whites aren't fighting with each other they are fighting among themselves. The same is true for the Indians of the East and West. Hispanics fight with each other. Orientals fight with each other. The people of color fight with people of every other color, including their own.

People seem to love to fight. They fight about everything. You name it - they do it. Men fight with women and women fight with men. Men fight with men and women fight with women.

Day and night, cat fights and dog fights.

People fight about race, color, creed, national origin, sexual gender and sexual preferences. I often think, they don't fight because of their race as much as they race to fight! I tend to believe the color of skin is just an excuse. Any excuse would do. Jealousy is jealousy regardless of the color of skin.

Racism exists for the simple reason that certain members of every race are racist towards their own kind. There are racists of every color.

A racist is the individual who is intolerant of others. The reasons may differ but the insanity is the same for all practical purposes. Bigotry is the game of the lame brain. It is the game of an extremist who swings up and down the emotional ladder of determining to fail himself and others miserably until society can't stand the label of his name. Joe McCarthy, a U.S. Senator, was a racist. His fanaticism destroyed the lives of many people of his own color and race. He was just as bad in temperament as Sta lin and Hitler. He was so obsessed by his desire to rid America of communism that he used the same tactics as the German Gestapo and Russian KGB.

Racism is everywhere to be seen throughout the world. Hate has raised its ugly head because the members of certain groups are unbelievably lost. The Klu Klux Klan, White Aryan Brotherhood and Skin Heads are just a few of the many organizations. You see them here and you see them there. You see them everywhere for they are everywhere to be seen.

A racist can hate you because of your creed as well as the color of your skin. In fact, he can dream up whatever reason necessary to hate. His imagination has run away with him. He's lost his mind and hasn't the heart to find it. He can't agree to disagree with you and leave it at that for Christ's sake. He must do you under in order for him to be on top.

Some Jews are intolerant of Arabs and some Arabs are intolerant of Jews. Jews and Gentiles can be racist as well as Catholics, Protestants and Muslims. Racism isn't limited to race and color, it extends to political dogma, religious creed and beyond. Heterosexuals are often bigots when it comes to homosexuals. The reverse is just as true. In truth, there are people of every race, color, creed, national origin, sexual gender and sexual preference who are against other people who are of the same and different persuasions.

Hate, hate and hate is the fate of those who can't learn to arise in consciousness where the conscience can come alive and purge the mind of the mentality of the damned, lost and forgotten of the ancestry who thought it well to perpetuate prejudices while rearing their young who are stuck in the past like a plaster cast.

The 'sins of the fathers' are what bother the young and old alike. Those sins (misperceptions) are what I call the 'isms' which cause us to think in an ill mannered way towards ourselves in relationship to the different others who were put upon this earth to help us remain in a heavenly state of well being.

As earthly as we might appear to be, within us is the divine providence of a higher life ready to come upon us when we choose love over hatred of any kind whatsoever. We must learn to live together because we're together to live by learning to get along with each other for the prosperity of the human race. Prosperity begins when the impoverishment of deathest thinking has ended for the highest good of all.

I can hate only if I hate myself. If I refuse to hate myself then I am loving others whether I realize it or not. The racist, bigot, fanatic and alike aren't capable of experiencing love for themselves. So, what they do is hate another as the way to project their hatred outward so they don't feel the agony of self defeat and self denial. They have the constant need to explode, otherwise they will implode and feel the hell of the underworld that knows them by name.

Hate mongers are lonely people fighting useless causes leading to nowhere. I suspect, since there isn't any place else to go but to hell, they are stationed upon the earth to teach others to remain in love with themselves for eternity.
