History of the Spiritual Rights Foundation
In 1969, Rev.
William Duby had the vision to establish the Spiritual Rights Foundation,
Inc. He was made aware that he was not alone in his need for a safe
environment where he could explore the sovereignty of his spiritual
nature without ridicule.
Thirteen years had passed before he was able to materialize his vision
upon the earth. Rev. Duby had to undergo vast psychological changes
before he was ready to undertake the creation of a spiritual kindergarten
where people kindred in spirit could congregate to practice their spirituality
in the exercise of their psychic abilities.
In 1976, Rev. Duby studied spirituality with the guidance of the late
Marc Reymont, New Age Awareness Foundation, located in San Francisco,
California. He studied with Rev. Reymont until his transition in 1981.
In 1980, Rev. Duby studied spirituality with the guidance of the late
Very Right Reverend Lewis S. Bostwick, Church of Divine Man, located
in Berkeley, California.
In 1982, Rev. Duby graduated as an ordained Minister of the Church of
Divine Man.
In 1982, Rev. Duby saw his vision become a legal reality when the co-founders
participated in the inception of the non-profit, religious church corporation.
In 1994, the people of SRF were inspired to open a branch in Santa Clara,
California.
In December 2001, the Very Right Rev. William Duby made his transition.
His staff and students continue on maintaining and growing his vision
of SRF.
Presently, Rev. Angela Silva and Rev. Robin DuMolin are the Board of
Directors of the Spiritual Rights Foundation, Incorporated.
